Life of 11 year old- Coronavirus Lockdown- Part 7

Coronavirus log day 7:

March 31, 2020

Today, as of right now, 8:23 p.m. Central time, the US has 188,280 total cases of the coronavirus. There are 24,492 new cases. The news says, quoting President Trump from News article published by REUTERS, " It's absolutely critical for the American people to follow the guidelines for the next 30 days. It's a matter of life and death." I very much WHOLEHEARTEDLY AGREE with President Trump right now. He says that they want Americans to be prepared for the hard days that lie ahead. Today, of what is left, I will go back to the unanswered question that my dad has asked me continuously. " What would you do about the coronavirus problem?" I'm going to give my most thought out answer possible. ( This is just a thought out idea Mr. Trump, not going against what you are doing) If I were the president of the US or any leader, I would first start out with a plan. Let's say there have not been any cases of the virus yet. I would first set up testing in airports. People coming from foreign places would immediately have to be tested. Then I would move to the big cities or landmarks that are often visited by. After a few days or so, I would wait for the results. Either way, if there are cases or not, I would consult my fellow leaders. I would get together, more likely digitally or on the phone, and speak to them about what they are doing about this situation. I would listen to them, their ideas, thoughts, plans, and form my own idea of some sort that would be extremely helpful. Also when consulting the leaders, I would have to think about which countries have gotten more infected and what they have been doing, though I also need to note that some things could be working, only some certain people are going to be stupid. After talking and forming a plan, I would continue with the testing in big cities and airports until there is a case. If there already is a case, then I would immediately shut down that flight, or airport, or landmark/city, and quarantine that person/people. I also, again, have to note that it may take hours for that data to reach me, so I might have to come up with some other way, one which I do not have. I'm not sure what I'll do next, so I'm going to continue tomorrow.

Anyway, today was DAY 2 of online school. I did an 11:00 zoom meeting with my ELA teacher, which happened after 4 emails of zoom codes and passwords which did not work. Then I got to work, finished all of ELA, checked that off my list, and decided to do Orchestra tomorrow when my parents are less busy with meetings. Before the meeting, I did some Kumon, 126-130, which was quite easy until page 130. After having a well made grilled cheese from my mom, I re-did my math submission, getting a final pass, like always, and a 100! Crossed that off. I decided to do Marathi, having it be due Tomorrow, and it was pretty easy. CHECK!! I only have to finish Orchestra to check both Orchestra HW and all schoolwork off, all my Kumon, Membean-which I keep putting off, busted-, and, organize my desk. I'm more of a lazy-ish person, yet sometimes if I'm really feeling up to it I'll be extra neat! My mom got a new car, it's a white car; so we took it out for a spin so we could get her prescription. Before we went my dad broke my AirPods. The ear part came off for one and both bottom parts came off for both. WWWWWWWWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYY??????? There also is this giant massive bug mosquito thingy near my desk which keeps bothering me as I type quickly, eagerly waiting to finish but just can't because of my blessing and curse of writing and story writing.

EXTRA: MY BIRTHDAY IS IN LESS THAN 2 WEEKS!!!!!!!!!!!! I love the number 12, it is my most favorite number and I am turning........ 12!!!!!!!!!!! HUZZAH!!!!!!!!!! This will be my first digital birthday. My mom-Mumma- has planned out to have all my friends digitally on zoom for my birthday. I know this really isn't exciting but, MY FIRST "LOCKDOWN" BIRTHDAY/ MY FIRST VIRUS BDAY!!!!!!!!!! I'm not liking online school but liking digital birthday. WOW! I'm such a strange kid, and I'm proud cuz it means I'm unique!!!!!!!!! Anyway, that's enough for today. It's already 9 and I have to get up at 6:30 tomorrow for a walk with dad- allowed to go out for exercise and health.
