Crash raised her hand and flicked it with a twist in the wrist. She watched as a digital screen appeared in front of her. she moved parts of bodies around, as she was creating something new. When she finished, she turned around and watched amusingly as the first figure was brought fresh from the machine in the corner. The figure had raggedy old torn wings and an old tattered dress. Her hair was tangled and frizzy, and her face was dark and rough. Crash smiled and helped her off the belt. She took her spear hand shocked the figure into a trance and waited. And waited and waited and waited. Alast the waiting was over, and the figure stood up still. She turned towards Crash and grinned. She held her hands up to her side, and let a steady stream of purple and black light and dust swarm her. She changed in the light, from a tattered dress to an extended new robe, from tangled frizzy hair, to clean neat gold hair with streaks of purple and black, from a sore face to an even worse, evil face. In addition, to those were a dark crown with the mark of the demons, and a new pair of beautiful wings.

" Are you ready?" Crash said The figure nodded and put her hands in front of the machine. She watched concentrated, as the power from her hands struck and made the machine break. Crash watched, eyes wide. Then, turned her view to the belt, which was producing thousands of demons all tattered. Then being shocked into a trance, and awaking turning into the army for Starlightieya. Crash nodded and snapped her fingers. She vanished and returned instead into Starlightieya's private lab. The lab wasn't much of a lab, it was actually more like a 3-year-olds room with an old chemistry set squashed in on a dusty old table in the corner. Starlightieya made it, a room with bunk beds, both with pink sparkly soft covers and pillows, pink soft rugs, a pink desk with pink pencils, pens, markers, rulers, and paper, along with a fuzzy pink rolling chair. Crash always grumbled at the sight of so much PINK. She often asked Starlightieya why she chose this as the design to look more like a 3 - year - old's room.

" The colours just help me think more and make me feel at home. " Starlightieya would respond just twirling around in the chair. But this time she wasn't twirling, nor in the chair. She was sitting at the Chemistry table mixing potions together into a cauldron.

" Any help you would need?" Crash said mysteriously. Starlightieya, still turned replied,

" All the better to make things quicker." She handed Crash a pair of safety goggles and a lab coat. She put them on and stepped towards the table.  Starlightieya pushed her cauldron aside and put a new one from below.

" A hint of dragon saliva, a feather of crow. A scale of lizard, a pinch of sea salt. And the last ingredient, the demonstar whose power is yet to be hers." Starlightieya said rhythmically.

" The last ingredient is a forbidden root from the dark forest picked many blue moons ago." She said while showing Crash a small corked bottle with little blue dust with a with salt dust. She opened the bottle and sprinkled it all in. Then she took the Demonsatar and threw that in as well. The potion became an unusual reddish colour.  She mixed well and brought the stirrer to her lips. She sipped once, twice, thrice, then dropped the ladel. She fell to the floor and gasped, heart pounding, ringing in her ears. She gasped and moaned, battling the potion inside of her. Then, she stopped, her body went rigid then stiff.  Crash watched silently then in awe as Starlightieya rose and absorbed dust and lights of power. She hovered then stepped down.

" Is the army ready?"

" Yes, it is."

" Good, tell Madame - X 69712 - 5 to round the dragons. And General 9250 - Q to aid the netherworld souls for their best army."  crash nodded and snapped, disappearing in a flash of smoke.  Starlightieya smile.

" Watch out Goddesses, because the War of Elements, has just begun. "

Midnight looked uncertain, she said,

" Um, you know that we need to build an army, right? "

Sunset smiled and said,

" We already have one remember?" Midnight looked puzzled.

" She's never done a release a command before." Crystal whispered.

" That's all right, I'll just explain it to her so she knows what to do," Sunrise whispered back.

" The release and command is a very old spell, where any old soul in you are removed, to be free. The one who holds souls will be released from the locked powers, and you will have the advantage to become your true form. "  Sunrise explained. Midnight thought of this very carefully and at last, said,

" Okay, if it's the only way to save my sister. " The others smiled and nodded at each other. Crystal stepped forward and put her hand in front of Midnight. She closed her eyes and concentrated carefully. She muttered a few words under her breath, as a glow of light surrounded Midnight, and small balls of fire, water, earth, sky and light erupted from her. When the glow dimmed, the balls of spirits, showed shadows then colours, then the bodies and powers of the spirits. They all gasped and smiled, chuckled and grinned, and laughed, and commented, all happy to become the Fire, Water, Earth, Sky, and Light Gods and Goddesses they once were. One soul stepped towards Midnight, and bowed, with the rest following.

" Congratulations Midnight, you have made your army. Now, take your locket, and hold it close to your heart." Midnight did as she was told, and gasped as a light of midnight colours and stars swirled around her. She watched in awe as Her robe became renewed, and a white pearled cloak joined her robe on the sides, her hair growing longer and came at the front with two ribbons put together and hanging behind her. Her Small crown which had Dusk's symbol changed into a larger crown with her symbol, a full moon and stars twinkling and shimmering ever so brightly representing her, Midnight, Goddess of the moon and stars. Midnight opened her eyes to the light and gasped. The others smiled and murmured at how extraordinary she looked. Midnight laughed and said,

" Wow, I mean, just, just, Midnight laughed," wow!'

" I know, it is amazing is it not." Crystal said grinning.

" But Midnight you must remember when there is a great power, there is also great jealousy. You must not, whatever you do, extend your power to it's truest potential." Sunset said darkly.

" But, I thought this is my - " Midnight started

" Oh, Sunrise is only kidding, you have nothing to worry about." Sunrise laughed sheepishly.

Sunset looked at her sister stubbornly. " Why must you always look for the false truth when there is no hiding back on the real one." She argued.  The same spirit which bowed to Midnight stepped towards the girls and rasped,

" Listen to your sister Sunrise, she speaks the truth. We have seen inside Midnight's future, and have learned great consequences have to come during the great war. "  The girls, forgetting the spirits were there, gasped, murmured and worried about this, each showing Midnight a great deal of " not - letting - the - person - who - was - the - topic- in - on - this." She rolled her eyes and whistled loudly. the other's bickering and worrying settled down, but not completely, as she could still hear small clips of conversations being whispered. " You do know that we have a war to battle in and won't win if you all keep talking." Everyone was startled, and Midnight realized that she had been yelling quite loudly. Midnight blushed and apologized nervously.

" Uh, Sunset, do you know how I can change back ?" Midnight asked. Sunset nodded at the others and replied,

" Do you really want to turn your back on something as extraordinary as this power?"

Midnight looked puzzled, and everyone chuckled. They each held their hands to their lockets and chanted the same ancient spell. Midnight gasped as each spun around in firey, watery, earthly, and sun and crystal light and dust, as they each changed into a cleaner robe, extended, with a changed locket, and with more flowing hair and a crown with their own symbols of fire, earth, water, suns, crystals and more. Midnight laughed and said,

" No, I don't want to throw this power, not if you all are standing with me, to the very end. Everyone smiled and cheered at the stunning remarkable words from Midnight.

" Then what are we waiting for?" Crystal said warmly. Midnight smiled and replied." Yeah, let's go win a war!"

Valet quickly lead the girls over to a small room two halls over, into a secret passageway leading down below the castles widths, and into a small bight lighted workshop with a small bed of ragged and thin mattresses and pillows, a small table with a rusted chair, and  a small chalkboard scribbled with drawings and blueprints all crammed together into the tiny room.  The girls all murmured quietly and looking around quickly, while Crystal was the first to speak.

" Nice meeting you again, old friend. " The girls all swivelled around to look at Crystal, who was smiling faintly, with a very unusual gleam in her eye.

" You know Valet?" Obsidian asked suspiciously.

" This isn't Valet," Crystal smiled." , This is only a disguise." Everyone gasped as a swirl of sunset coloured light swirled around Valet and she transformed from Valet, Queen of the Demons, to Sunset, mystical advisor of Dawn and Dusk. Sunset smiled gently but then frowned.

" Sun Rise, what are you doing here?" The girls looked around but they saw no other person beyond their vision.

" Are you talking to me?" Obsidian said. Everyone glanced at her and murmured sceptically. Sunset nodded. Obsidian sighed.

" Maybe it's time you all know the truth," Obsidian said quietly. Sunset put a hand on her shoulder and said,

" Long ago, about six thousand years ago, I and Sunset were born." We grew together and were the best at the test until,"

" Until what?"

" Until, the accident." Obsidian looked sadder than she did that at first.

" Mind if I take it from here?" Sunset said gently. obsidian nodded and sniffled back a droopy tear.

" You see," Sunset started. " When Valet died, she was so powerful and full of dark energy, that her powers broke up and started around the cities. This was a big problem, obviously, but not as big as it was when it came to our home. Me and Sun Rise were just playing outside and that's when 6 bits came up. I had no idea what happened, but 1 piece absorbed into me, while the rest absorbed into Sun Rise. I had rushed inside to tell our parents and came back to see Sun Rise on the floor not feeling well. The night she fell ill, she disappeared into the darkness and became one of the subjects of Valet. I haven't seen her for a while, until now." She smiled at Obsidian who said,

" The darkness had taken over me and had made me, Obsidian. I guess, I never realized who I was until I saw you." Crystal and Midnight were shocked.

" What about you, why were you posing to be Valet?" Midnight asked.

" Dawn and Dusk knew her secret and told her that she should become Valet any time in despair. This should give her an advantage in case of upcoming any enemies." Crystal responded.

" I think that magic is still inside you sis," Sunset said, winking.  Obsidian smiled and stepped out. She raised her hands to the sky and muttered words under her breath. Magical, mystical, amazing words.  She closed her eyes and froze as lights and dust of all reds and yellows, and golds, and oranges swarmed around her, changing her black- violet streamed hair, into a golden,  orange specked palate, her robe of Monkshood purple, to a blissful gold. Her pendant stayed the same as the darkness, but a new object landed on her head. A gleamingly polished crown, with the moon setting, and the sun rising, showing Sun Rise, sister of Sunset, and advisor of both Dawn and Dusk.  Sun Rise opened her eyes and said,

" Let's go save Twilight!"

As Starlightieya disappeared, leaving a cloud of dark smoke, all the girls face started to fall on all hopes. Until an amazing thing happened.  Valet quickly closed all doors, windows and patches, and rushed towards them.

" We have to go save your sister! Now!" She cried frantically. The girls, all shocked, raced out of the room. Midnight instead turned and did as she was told with Dawn and Dusk's souls. She closed her eyes and showed her locket in the palm of her hand to them.  The two souls emerged into pure golden and royal sapphire glow of light descended into the locket, shimmering into one. When the light faded, Midnight hung her locket back on her neck and turned. before she walked out, she looked at the bodies of Dawn and Dusk,\. She watched before her eyes as they descended into nothing but moon dust and sunrays, fading away into the sky. Midnight turned again, heading to the door, and had a new look in her eye. A look of determination, and bravery, for she had a new priority in mind: saving Twilight.
                                                        ********************

Twilight saw a picture of not only Dawn and Dusk on the coins but also of Midnight. She knew that these coins along with Dawn and Dusk were centuries old, and, Midnight on this coin, only told her everything that she needed to know. All the answers to who Midnight actually was! Twilight gasped and dropped the coin.

" Hello, hello, girly!" Twilight turned around and saw Starlightieya hovering in the air with an apple in hand.

" What do you want! You already took everything from me! My friends, sister, Dawn and Dusk! You have it all! So leave me be!!!" Twilight Bellowed. She whimpered and sobbed a few tears.

" I don't really regret taking all your friends, but I want you to help me with a little task. " Starlightieya replied gleefully.  Twilight looked up, wiped a tear away, and replied

" Oh yeah, what's that?"  Starlightieya smiled and said,

" Oh, I can't tell you yet, but you need to help me first by taking a bite out of this apple." Twilight was a bit frightened about eating this apple, so she asked what good would it do if she ate it. Starlightieya had a glint of annoyance in her eye but said,

" I don't have your friends, but my mother does! She is using them to help her in the war of the Demonstar." Starlightieya only said this to get Twilight to take a bite, and eventually Twilight did. The minute the apple went down her throat, she began swelling with dark energy all around her. Her robe turned from a lovely magenta to a horrid violet. Her hair had streaks of purple, and her crown changed from being a moon to the mark of the demons.  In her hand was a spear of light consumed by darkness. As she floated to the ground, her eyes opened, into a lulling hypnotic stare which could seem normal to anyone the first time they meet.

" Hello again old friend," Starlightieya said gleefully, "I've been awaiting you, Crash." Crash opened her eyes and gave a grin of mischievousness.
